Included here Israel (officially the State of Israelis) at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea.
Of the endemic and near endemic vascular plants so far recorded there are about 253 species in 131 genera and 41 families but no endemic genera.
Their distribution is as follows: Endemic to Israel (EI), Endemic to Israel and Jordan (EP), Endemic to Israel and coastal Sinai (EC), Endemic to Israel and Syria and coastal Lebanon (ES), Endemic to Israel and Sinai (EE), Endemic to Israel and Lebanon (EL), Endemic to Israel and south Turkey (ET), Endemic to Israel and Jebel Druze (ED), Endemic to Israel and Cyprus and possibly Lebanon or Turkey (EY), Endemic to Israel, Lebanon, West Syria to Amanus (EA).
