Included here is Siberia a huge region stretching across central and eastern Russia from the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Ocean and encompassing much of the Eurasian Steppe.
Of the endemic and near endemic vascular plants so far recorded there are about 689 species in 226 genera and 50 families. There are 2 endemic genera (marked red) but no endemic families.
