Included here is Andaman Islands and Nicobar Islands situated in the Bay of Bengal.
Endemic vascular plants recorded for this zone include 94 species in 86 genera and 49 families. There is one endemic genus Pubistylus (marked red) but no endemic families. Most of the endemics are found on the Andaman Islands but about 12 are confined to the Nicobar Islands (marked Nicobar).
