Summary
Included here is all Peninsula India east of the Malabar Coast and south of the Indo-Gangetic Plain.
Of the endemic and near endemic vascular plants so far recorded there are about 285 species in 197 genera and 64 families. There are 12 endemic genera (marked red) but no endemic families. However this list is unlikely to be exhaustive.
