Summary
Included here is broad expanse of Siberian territory extending from the western and southwestern foothills of the Verkhoyansk Range eastwards to the Sea of Fotsk and the Bering Sea but excludes Kamchatka and the extreme northern territories that lie within the Arctic zone.
Of the endemic and near endemic vascular plants so far recorded there are about 350 species in 147 genera and 43 families. There is one endemic genus (marked red) but no endemic families. There is however reported to be more than one endemic genus so further information is required.
