Summary

Included here is the Samoan Islands in the central South Pacific. They are officially included within Polynesia but are here classed as part of the Fijian BioProvince.

Of the endemic vascular plants so far recorded there are about 35 species in 27 genera and 15 families but no endemic genera. Since these species are spread across several islands their distribution is indicated using the following notation: Ofu/Olosega = O, Savai‘i = S, Tutuila = T, Ta‘ū = Ta & Upolu= U.
