Western Siberian BioProvince
This BioProvince (as defined by Armen Takhtajan) includes the west Siberian Plain extending from the Urals in the west to the Enisej River in the east. In the north it borders the Arctic BioProvince, while in the south it extends to the semi-deserts of Kazakhstan and reaches Ust-Kamenogorsk. In the southeast its border passes close to Novosibirsk and Tomsk. Despite its vastness species endemism is low and there is no generic endemism.
