Summary

Included here are maritime rocky shores and sea cliffs where the associated vegetation is strongly influenced by salt spray. In exposed situations maritime vegetation can extend for up to 500 m inland. Ecosystem descriptions from around the world are available in the left-hand column and seacliff/rocky shore images from around the world are available in the right-hand column.
