Summary
Included here are the the islands of Tristan da Cunha, Gough, Inaccessible and Nightingale situated in the South Atlantic.
Of the endemic vascular plants so far recorded there are 20 endemic species in 12 genera and 8 families but no endemic genera. Most of the species listed here occur on Tristan da Cunha and some occur on other islands but Nertera holmboei is restricted to Inaccessible and Nightingale. However, there are reported to be up to 40 endemic plant species recorded for ths biozone so further information is required.
